Lamelka krótka typ 2 została wykonana z D-kształtnych płytek o rozmiarze 4/9cm z grubej 4-4,5mm skóry utwardzanej w wosku pszczelim. W całości łączona mocnym rzemieniem. Lamelka posiada tylny system wiązania oparty na rzemieniach. Lamelka w postaci bezrękawnika do pasa bez skórzanych obszyć brzegów jest najtańszym przykładowym wyrobem z działu lamelki skórzane.
