All Damascus seen on this page was hand-forged and annealed. Blade was made of high carbon tool steel and mild steel. I offer composite blades too (for example blade no. 1.)

Głownie ze stali damasceńskiej. Wymiary według wskazań klientów. Już wykonane noże posiadają wymiary:

1. długość całkowita 340mm, dlugosc głowni 220mm, szerokośc 30mm, grubośc 4mm.

2. długość całkowita 260mm, dlugosc głowni 150mm, szerokośc 25mm, grubośc 3mm.

It is produced mainly from Damascus steel. Dimensions according to customer’s requests. Ready-made knives have dimensions:

1. total length is 340mm, blade length is 220mm, it is 30mm wide, 4mm thick.

2. total length is 260mm, blade is 150mm long, width: 25mm, thickness 3mm.

Nóż ze stali damasceńskiej typ 10. Powyższy nóż posiada głownie o długości 120mm wykonaną z około 300-400 warstw stali nisko i wysokoweglowej. Nóz posiada rogowo/drewnianą rękojeść (czarny róg bawoli). Pochewka posiada mosięzne okucia jak na zdjęciu. Długośc całkowita noża 220mm.

A knife made of Damascus steel - type 10. The above knife has a blade 120mm long which is made of about 300-400 layers of low and high carbon steel. Handle is made from black bafflo horn and wood . The sheath has brass ferrules as shown on the picture. Total length of the knife is 220mm.

Rogowa rękojeśc jest okuta brązem, posiada wzór w stylu ruskim. Pochwa jest okuta mosiądzem, posiada dwa uchwyty do zaczepienia na pasie. Długośc całkowita noża 330mm.

Antler’s handle is forged in bronze and embellished with a pattern in Ruthenian style. Sheath has a Brass ferrules and two hook, ready to hang on belt. Total length of the knife is 330mm.

A knife made of Damascus steel - type 7. The above knife has a blade 210mm long which is made of about 300-400 layers of low and high carbon steel. Antler’s handle is forged in bronze and embellished with a pattern in Jellinge style. The knife has a leather sheath with a pressed / drawn patterns (on both sides).

Powyższy nóż wzorowany jest na znalezisku z Poznania-Zagórza, posiada głownie o długości 130mm wykonaną z około 300-400 warstw stali nisko i wysokoweglowej, nóż posiada rogowe okładziny z dwoma nitami oraz zdobieniami geometrycznymi. Okuta brązem. Pochewka posiada mosiężne okucia wzorowane na znalezisku z Lednicy. Całośc dopełniają rytowane wzory (Z kaptorgi z Chełma oraz z drzwi gnieźnieńskich). Długośc całkowita noża 235mm.

A knife made of Damascus steel - type 6. The above knife is up to the pattern to a find discovered in Poznań-Zagórze, it has a blade 130mm long which is made of about 300-400 layers of low and high carbon steel, the knife has antler’s linings with two rivets and geometric decorations. It is forged in bronze. The sheath has brass ferrules up to the pattern to a find from Lednica. The whole is filled up by engraved patterns (from “kaptorga” {a little box or purse worn on neck by Slavs}from Chełm as well as from doors in Gniezno (Poland). Total length of the knife is 235mm.

Okuta brązem rogowa rękojeść jest zdobiona wzorem w stylu ruskim. Pochewka posiada mosięzne okucia jak na zdjęciu. Długośc całkowita noża 275mm. Waga z pochwą 275g.

Antler’s handle is forged in bronze and embellished with a pattern in Scandinavian style. Brass ferrules of the sheath are embellished with simple geometric motifs. Rogowa rękojeśc jest zdobiona wzorem z kamienia z Gotlandii, rękojeśc posiada brazowe okucia. Mosiężne okucia pochewki są zdobione prostymi wątkami geometrycznymi, rytowany wzór jest identyczny do wzoru z rekojeści. Pochewka posiada okute mocowanie do pasa. Długość całkowita noża 250mm. Waga z pochwą 373g.

A knife made of Damascus steel - type 3. The above knife has a blade 143mm long which is made of about 300-400 layers of low and high carbon steel. Antler’s handle is decorated up to the pattern of a stone from Gotland and has bronze ferules. Brass ferrules of the sheath are embellished with simple geometric motifs. The engraved pattern is identical as the pattern on the handle. The sheath has ferruled fastenings for a belt. Total length of the knife is 250mm.The weight is 373g including the sheath.

Rękojeści wykonane odpowiednio z drewna oraz z czarnego rogu bawoła. Rekojeści okute mosiądzem. Możliwośc dorobienia pochewki skórzanej. Długość całkowita noży około 205mm. Waga samych nozyków po około 60 gramów co świadczy że sa bardzo zgrabne.

Knives made of Damascus steel - type 2. The above knives have a blade 120mm long which is made of about 600 layers of low and high carbon steel. Antler’s handles are made of wood and of black buffalo antler. Handles ferruled with brass. It is possible to make an extra leather sheath. Total length of the knives is about 205mm.The weight of the knives themselves is about 60 grams each which confirms that they are very adroit.

Mosiężne okucia idealnie trzymią drewniany stelaż pochwy wraz z skórzanym obiciem. Długośc całkowita noża 350mm. Waga z pochwą 325g.

A knife made of Damascus steel - CUTLASS. The above knife has a blade 120mm long which is made of about 700-800 layers of low and high carbon steel. Wooden handle is ferruled with brass. Brass ferrules ideally hold up a wooden rack of the sheath including leather lining. Total length of the knife is 350mm. The weight is 325g including the sheath.

Nóż wschodni - KUKRI. Powyższy nóż posiada zakrzywioną głownie o długości około 290mm wykonaną z około 800 warstw stali nisko i wysokoweglowej. Rekojeść z rogu bawoła okuta mosięznymi kapslami. Łączna długośc około 410mm. Pochodznie - Nepal. Waga 492g. (bez pochwy).

The eastern Knife – “KUKRI”. The above knife has a curved /bent blade that is about 290mm long and it is made of about 800 layers of low and high carbon steel. Handle is made of buffalo antler and ferruled with brass crown-caps. Total length is ca. 410mm. The origin is Nepal. The weight is 492g (excluding the sheath).
